TPF Pin Barrel Extruders

TPF extruders improve mixing, plasticification and productivity by keeping the extruded output temperature low.
The pins positioned in the screw compartment, generate turbulence, friction and mixing of the extruded compound, guaranteeing a high degree of plasticification.
The pins also create increased pressure against the push flight of the screw by reducing the back flow of the mixture by increasing the transport capacity and resulting in an increase in productivity.

The function of this configuration is to increase the range of the extruder and favor the plasticification of the rubber. The innovation consists in the creation of a special extrusion cylinder suitable for receiving cooled tangential pins. The cooling of the pins removes a considerable amount of energy from the compound being processed, allowing the screw rotation speed to be increased while maintaining low extrusion temperatures.
