It is a cold feed rubber pin barrel extruder built with screw diameters from 70 to 250 mm.
The pins of this new extruder, unlike standard pin extruders, are cooled with cold water circulation passing through them.
This solution with cooled pins provides to the process not only a better thermal control but also generates an increased production of 15-20% (compared to traditional pins). If this extruder is also coupled with a gear pump, the production increase reaches 25 -30%.
